Areli Nogueira da Silva Júnior has lengthy experience in exploration, resource and reserve evaluation, geostatistics and modelling, and mining project development. In particular, Mr. Silva Júnior has worked in analytical geological and mining engineering roles at Usiminas Mineração and TekGeo Geologia. He has also worked at the Brazilian mining department in a technical capacity.

Mr. Silva Júnior is the owner of GeoEspinhaço, a consulting company involved in multiple phases of geological and mineral project evaluation for multiple minerals. He has been a university professor and taught subjects of Geology and Mining Engineering curricula, with emphasis in geostatistics and modelling. He is also the Founder and Technical Director of MineXplore, a Belo Horizonte, Brazil startup company focused in solutions for workflow management of mining and mineral rights.

Mr. Silva Júnior has a Master’s degree in Geology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and a degree in Geological Engineering from the School of Mines of the Federal University of Ouro Preto (Brazil). He has post-graduate studies in Geoprocessing from Pontificial Catholic University of Minas Gerais (Belo Horizonte, Brazil), and additional multiple post-graduate specialization coursework in areas such as Mining-Metallurgical Systems, and the Geochemistry of Rare Earths.

Valéria da Rocha is an expert in the licensing of new mines and mining projects. She has over 11 years of experience in environmental affairs and regulation in Brazil. She previously worked for a Brazilian partnership with gold and iron mines, and before that as consultant to several large mining and mineral-related companies, including Coffey International and Votorantim Metals.

Ms. Rocha has a Bachelor in Geography degree from UNI (Belo Horizonte, Brazil); graduate-level studies in Geoprocessing and Digital Modeling from Federal University of Minas Gerais (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) and Environmental Managemente from Faculdade Estácio de Sá (Belo Horizonte, Brazil).

José Alencar Francescatto

Geologist, consultant for the Pindaíba Project

José Alencar Francescatto has over 38 years of experience as a field geologist in Brazil, with extensive experience with alluvial and primary gold. He was Chief Geologist for Mineração Tejucana, a successful alluvial gold and diamond mining company in Brazil.

Mr. Francescatto holds a Bachelor in Geology degree from Vale do Rio dos Sinos University (São Leopoldo, Brazil).
